Sean C. Beinart, MD, FACC, FHRS
Dr. Sean C. Beinart graduated summa cum laude from the University of Texas at Austin. He obtained his medical degree with honors from Baylor College of Medicine. He then completed his medical internship and residency at the University of Washington in Seattle where he also served as Chief Medical Resident. Dr. Beinart finished his general cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology fellowships at Emory University. He is a clinical cardiac electrophysiologist who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of abnormal heart rhythms. He has expertise in pacemaker and defibrillator implantation in addition to the ablation of complex arrythmias such as atrial fibrillation. Dr. Beinart is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and Board Certified in Cardiovascular Diseases and Clinical Electrophysiology. Dr. Beinart has published in several cardiology journals and is a current peer reviewer for Circulation. He is the Co-Director of the Center for Cardiac and Vascular Research at Washington Adventist Hospital in Takoma Park, Maryland.
