Joseph A. Sivak, MD, FACC
Dr. Sivak graduated magna cum laude with a BS in Computer Engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park. He spent two years working as a software engineer at Raytheon after which he attended medical school at the University of Virginia School of Medicine. At UVA, he received pass with distinction honors and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honors Society. He then completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Sivak attended Duke University for general cardiology fellowship and spent an additional year there for advanced imaging training which he completed in 2016. Dr. Sivak’s professional interests include cardiac stress testing, echocardiography, cardiac CT, and management of patients with congenital and acquired structural heart defects.
